Dr. Roland Domann is to join MUFG to enhance its Structured Solutions Coverage and Distribution capabilities in continental Europe, as part of the bank's work to further expand its offering for FIG clients.
Based in Paris, Roland will join MUFG as Head of Paris Distribution and Structured Financing and Solutions Sales in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
With 18 years of experience in the financial services sector, Roland joins from Nomura, where he held the position of Head of Insurance Structuring in EMEA. Previously he worked for Deutsche Bank as Head of Cross-Asset Sales Structuring for the DACH region, BlackRock as Head of ETF and Index Investment Solutions in EMEA, and Head of Financial Institution Sales Structuring EMEA for Barclays.
Roland will report to Moncef Chaabouni, Head of Structured Financing and Solutions Sales, EMEA, for all solutions sales matters, and to Matteo Ferrario, Head of Public and Private Side Distribution, EMEA, in relation to MUFG's European client franchise. Locally, Roland will also report to Antoine Baudron, Head of MUFG Securities (Europe)'s Paris branch.
Roland will also work closely with Amanda Willis, Head of Credit Sales, EMEA, who will continue to oversee the department from a product perspective.
