INTENDED APPLICATION BY MUFG SECURITIES ASIA LIMITED (FORMERLY KNOWN AS MITSUBISHI UFJ SECURITIES (HK), LIMITED, MITSUBISHI SECURITIES (HK), LIMITED AND TOKYO-MITSUBISHI INTERNATIONAL (HK) LIMITED, AND SUCCESSOR TO THE BUSINESS OF TOWA SECURITIES (HONG KONG) LIMITED) TO TRANSFER THEIR RESPECTIVE CLIENTS' UNCLAIMED ASSETS INTO THE HIGH COURT OF HONG KONG AND OTHER ORDERS
MUFG Securities Asia Limited ( "MUS(Asia)") (formerly known as Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (HK), Limited, Mitsubishi Securities (HK), Limited and Tokyo-Mitsubishi International (HK) Limited, and successor to the business of Towa Securities (Hong Kong) Limited) has contacted its clients who still have assets with MUS(Asia), by way of written notices to such clients' last known address and by phone, to inform them that their client agreement with MUS(Asia) is to terminate, and MUS(Asia) will no longer provide safekeeping services for their accounts.
MUS(Asia) intends to apply to the High Court of Hong Kong Hong Kong Special Administrative Region shortly to transfer its clients' unclaimed assets into such Court pursuant to section 62 of the Trustee Ordinance (Cap.29, Laws of Hong Kong), Order 92 of the Rules of the High Court (Cap.4A, Laws of Hong Kong), and/or a forfeiture order under section 56 of the Trustee Ordinance, and/or an order to pay the unclaimed assets to the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region pursuant to section 752 of the Companies Ordinance (Cap. 622, Laws of Hong Kong).

三菱日聯證券亞洲有限公司(MUFG Securities Asia Limited)（「三菱日聯證券」）（前身為三菱日聯證券（香港）有限公司(Mitsubishi UFJ Securities (HK), Limited)、三菱證券（香港）有限公司 (Mitsubishi Securities (HK), Limited)及東京三菱國際（香港）有限公司(Tokyo-Mitsubishi International (HK) Limited)，以及為東和證券（香港）有限公司(Towa Securities (Hong Kong) Limited)的繼任者）已向仍於三菱日聯證券持有資產的客戶的最後已知地址發出書面通知及致電，通知他們其與三菱日聯證券的客戶協議將會終止，三菱日聯證券不會再為客戶提供帳戶保管服務。
三菱日聯證券擬於短期內向香港特別行政區高等法院作出申請，根據《受託人條例》（香港法例第29章）第62條及《高等法院規則》（香港法例第4A章）第92號命令，將有關客戶無人認領的資產轉交該法院，以及/或根據《受託人條例》第56條作出沒收令，以及/或根據《公司條例》（香港法例第622章）第752條指令將有關無人認領資產轉交香港特別行政區政府。
