The Growth and Middle Market Technology (GMMT) team is a newly formed group based in London, focused on building a market-leading lending and advisory platform for middle-market technology companies across the EMEA region.
The team was launched in September 2024 under the leadership of Adam Ball, who joined as Head of GMMT from Bank of Ireland, where he was Head of Technology and Telecoms, Corporate Finance. Since then, the team has grown rapidly, with eight additional bankers onboarded and recruitment ongoing to further scale the platform.
The team is targeting a revenue range of $40m-$2bn, working with a diverse client base that includes publicly listed companies, private equity sponsor-backed, venture capital-backed, and founder-led or privately held businesses.
The GMMT team supports clients across a broad spectrum of strategic financing needs, including working capital, M&A, LBOs/MBOs, share buybacks, and other growth initiatives. Debt solutions span bilateral, bank club and syndicated structures, with capabilities in underwritten and emerging cash flow/ARR-based facilities.
